Front Office

In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this website.


To Check-In, each person is required to present a valid identity document (National ID card/passport/drivers license) and fill in the registration card.

Unless otherwise agreed, the arrival time for Check-In is set from 2 pm.

Age Requirement Policy

Except for specially approved programs or circumstances, no guest under 18 years of age will be permitted to be signed into a room without the presence of their parent or guardian. Any guest who is 16 or 17 years old must provide a valid ID and a document indicating date of birth (these may be the same document) and an emergency phone number as well as a completed authorization form for the visit from a parent or guardian. Guests must be 18 years or older with valid government issued identification to reserve and to check in to a guestroom.

Early Departure Policy

The length of stay is as per initial agreement at check in. Unless confirmed, the Check-out time is by 11am.

Guests who check out of the hotel prior to their scheduled departure date are subject to an early departure fee of one night.

Late Arrival

Reservations are not eligible for refund in the event of late arrivals or early departures. In the event of a cancellation or early departure the room will be released back to the lodge's general inventory.

No Show Policy

Reservations will be held for 48 hours from the scheduled arrival date. Reservations are not eligible for refunds in the event of a no show.

Late Check-Out Policy

Every individual is required to check out and follow and abide by the checking out procedure of the lodge. Late check-outs may be granted upon request and availability. Late check-outs may be subject to additional fees and applicable taxes.


The lodge has the right to demand payment from the guest in advance.

Payment Policy

If paying with cash; an incidental deposit for the room for N$200*(terms and conditions apply) towards incidentals will be collected at check-in.

Credit/Debit Card Policy

Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus a cash amount of N$200 to cover incidentals. The cash amount will hold as incidental amount until check out, at which time if there is an extra charge, the guest will be required to add onto the initial incidental amount paid upon their arrival.

Final Payment

Full payment for the entire length of stay will be taken on the scheduled day of arrival. A valid ID and credit card/cash will be required upon check-in regardless of billing status.

Deposit Requirements

A deposit of the first night's stay, for each room, plus all applicable taxes, is required at the time of booking.*

Cancellation Policy

Ntunda Lodge has a 72 hour prior to check-in cancellation policy. Cancellations requests made at least 72 hours before arrival will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellation requests within 72 hours of arrival result in a forfeiture of the deposit.*

Food & Beverage

Meal Times

Meal times for resident guests at the restaurant should be respected. Kitchen opens at 7am, Breakfast is served from 0730am to 11.00am* (Unless arrangements for early breakfast are made with Front Office) Lunch from 12 noon to 1500hrs (3pm), Dinner from 1700hrs-2100hrs (9pm). No food to be consumed in the rooms. If one orders food, it can be consumed at the designated eating areas.

Alcohol Policy

No Alcohol or refreshments to be brought into the Lodge from outside. Alcoholic beverage service is restricted to those 18 years or older (with valid identification). Food and drinks (Alcoholic/non), may be obtained from the bar for consumption at designated eating and drinking points. Food and drinks should not be consumed in the rooms. Alcohol is restricted from those below the age of 18 and a valid Proof of Identification may be required. Coolers are not permitted into the lodge.



From 10:00pm to 7:00am are guests asked to keep the silent hours.

No-Party Policy

Ntunda Lodge has a strict “No Party” policy on guest accommodation blocks and or in public areas. Noise complaints are taken very seriously and may result in eviction without compensation. Guests planning an event of any size are encouraged to contact the Manager's office on 0811478484.

Furniture and Room setup

Guests are asked not to move any of the room's equipment and not to interfere with the power lines.

Appliances and damage

For security reasons it is not permitted to use own appliances. The exceptions are: razors, hair dryers, curling irons, small portable radio and personal computer. Guest is then responsible and liable for any damages caused by their use.

The guest is responsible for damages caused to lodge&39;s property according to applicable regulations and is asked to report them at the reception desk. When damages occur as a result of negligence, disregarding the rules or rough handling, the lodge has the right to claim for compensation.

Children and Pets

It is not allowed to leave children in the room unattended. Parents are responsible for the safety of their children in all areas of the lodge, especially at the swimming pool. The lodge maintains a strict No pets policy unless in the event of Service Pets to which proof must be provided upon request. Any pets in rooms will attract a cleaning fine of N$300.


When leaving the room, guests are asked to close all water taps, turn off the lights, turn off the television, close windows and return the room key before Checking-out. The lodge reserves the right to inspect a room before guest can be reimbursed their security deposit.


The lodge is responsible for guest's items, only if they are stored in a place dedicated to this purpose, confirmed with a signature and proof of deposit.


Hotel guests are asked to respect the smoking and non-smoking areas. All rooms are non-smoking hence the lodge is a 100% smoke free environment. There are designated smoking areas outside of the building. A $300 per day cleaning fee will be charged to the guest's account should smoking occur anywhere inside the room or undesignated smoking area. *inquire area information within.

Hosting “friends”

A “friend” is defined as any individual who is not currently assigned as a resident of that particular room and is being entertained by the “host” who in this case is the booked individual.

Please note the following if you are planning to host a guest:

  • When a guest is visited by another person, who is not a hotel guest, that person is allowed to enter his room, only when an ID card is presented, otherwise, they will only be allowed to enter public areas.
  • The privilege to have “friend” in a room or suite is based upon the precept of mutual respect and balance; one resident's right to have guests does not supersede another's right to reasonable privacy. Residents “hosts” are responsible for the behavior of their “friends”. Hosts must ensure that their “friends” abide by all Lodge policies. The rights of Namibia Lodge 2000 residents shall take precedence over the rights of “friends” of “hosts”. Specifically, residents have the right to restrict “friends” presence in their block of rooms, particularly in the case of overnight guests if they are causing havoc and being a nuisance. A resident “host” may sign in up and (pay for) two overnight guests at any one time if beds permitting.
  • Failure to follow correct sign-in policy will result in guest removal from the lodge premises.
  • Occupancy Policy

    An extra person charge will apply if there are more than 2 adults in a guest room.

    Special Event Policy

    Namibia Lodge 2000 & Safaris may enforce special event policies over high-demand dates, such as some holidays, sporting events, festivals, or other citywide events. Some of these events include Heroes weekend, Trade fairs, Christmas holidays, Easter Holidays, Expos, Festivals, and New Year's Eve etc.

    Event policies can include pre-payment/non-cancelable requirements for room reservations. For the safety and security of all lodge guests, access to guest public areas during special events is limited to registered guests. During special events, registered guests are issued a form of identification to identify and distinguish them from the rest.

    Rates quoted at the time a reservation is made are for two (2) occupants per room. Additional guests, up to a maximum of three (3) per room, will incur an additional charge per person. Extra beds and mini-refrigerators* are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis at check-in. *for selected rooms only

    Damages Policy

    Namibia Lodge 2000 & Safaris reserves the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the lodge's property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge and make all necessary arrangements to get it paid.

    * Cancellation policies may vary depending on the rate, promotion or dates of your reservation.

    We kindly ask all guests to comply with the above Regulations. In the case of gross violation of these Regulations, the lodge management has the right to withdraw from the accommodation agreement before the expiration of the period.
